Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is an undergraduate academic degree in computer application awarded in India after completion of three years course. B.C.A. or Bachelor of Computer Application is a course which is equivalent with B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or Information technology. It is a 3-year (six semesters) undergraduate programme.[1] Full time BCA programmes normally take three academic years. More than one thousand institutions provide BCA courses in India with an annual intake of more than 50,000 students.
